I have been eaten alive by my good old friend, named anxiety, over the summer. I have worried myself for nothing and I'm glad I've been proved otherwise. This post is a mix of what I did this summer and albeit of what's currently up with me.
My everyday playlist somehow managed to drastically shift hence, the title. Summer Friends is one of Chance The Rapper's tracks in his Coloring Book album (originally Chance 3 but none of you could care less) which is the album I play on a daily on the way to school. Kehlani's album is also good!
Things have been going pretty well, for me at least, we'll see.
My Summer '16, as everyone on twitter would like to make a big deal out of, consisted of hanging out with the best people I could ever ask for.
Not to mention a lot of home cooking a bomb carbonara to tasteless fried chicken then to the shittiest food experiment ever. A lot of kwentuhan happened – both senseless and noteworthy ones – summer was lit!
Also a few days ago, one of my friend's uncle started up a burger and pasta joint nearby Blumenttrit, Espanya. Expectations were met!!! Food is good!!!! Also, I'll be out to help them on the flyers and other graphic editing help/works.
Carl's Burger, Blumenttrit, Espanya – 10/10! Walang mintis!
Things we ordered:
01. Quarter Pound Burger
02. Fries with "chili" sauce
03. Buffalo Wings (Spicy)
Everything on the menu is affordable although the place is quite small, goods naman na.
Where do broken hearts go? Edi sa org.
I'm now Junior Publicity Promotions for my very first school org which is KnightsTV so angat na ang tita niyo ng slight. Also medyo recently, I got in to another organization, The Lance, which is the school's official newspaper, as one of their graphic editors.
Pano pag petiks sa org? Edi friends.
Like every other summer, holiday, or pag may sawi sa barkada, we go out and hang out to either cook everyone's favorite "homemade dish" that is pancit canton chilimansi and/or watch horror movies and whatnot.
Pano pag busy ang friends? Edi nuod.
Mga meeeehn, I've watched a lot of animes over the summer and am currently trying to find the time and initiative to watch Boruto's OVA. I also made a list of movies I'm planning to watch on my free days – Wedsnesdays, Fridays, and Sundays – that's also my schedule for facial masks and other unnecessary 10-step korean skin care tips I try to follow.
That's a lot of things to talk about for a life lately post + I put effort on the visuals for this HAHAHAHA!
