As a kid, I've always been fascinated with museums. The first museum I've been to as a child was Museong Pambata which I barely even remember going there, second that I can clearly recall is the Fort Santiago Museum; I was with my mom and it was my first time in Intramuros hehe. When I was in second year high school our whole class decided to go around Manila with no particular itinerary or plan in mind, so jiving along with the spontaneity, I suggested going to National Museum since (1) I've never been there and (2) I've been meaning to see the place for ages.
Unfortunately, we went to the Pier instead – not that I'm complaining though, it was fun too! (& I learned so much about HIV so)
It was summer before sophomore year in college started that I actually went in the place + I was with my high school teacher I considered as my other parent so it's a win/win situation sans the broken heart I was mending (wuuuuw!) We were only able to go to the other building which housed more on the Philippine culture. Also, it was my first time to ride an elevator na kinakausap ako in Japanese! Tang ina amazing!!!!
